Paradox of Models

Paradox of Models is the idea that any model must exist in the Creative Tension between simplicity and complexity. A good model must be simple so it can be understood, however this will limit how accurately it can encode reality. A good model must also be complex enough to usefully encode reality, but this limits how easily it can be understood.
