The Village
Teaching Points
I was thinking about the role of dreams in the spiritual life and thinking about introducing the mystery of the story that way. Exploration of dreams from a psychological and theological perspective.
Psychology:
- What are dreams? What do they mean?
- Neuro-anatomy of dreams.
- Dealing with traumatic dreams.
- Methods to wipe out traumatic memories (recent research).
- Mental health is a continuum. (De-stigmatizing mental health issues.)
- Conspiracy theories – why we like them. What to do if someone believes one. Has there ever been one exposed?
Theology:
- Dreams in faith traditions.
- The origin of dreams.
- Dream interpretation and symbology.
Proposed Gameplay
- Find a place ideal for a village at least 2000 blocks away from NC’s walls and you’re only allowed to bring what you can fit in your Hotbar.
- When stocking up on supplies you may need weapons those can be acquired under a certain parking lot for a price or you can make your own.
- Once you have the location go back to NC and repack your Hotbar and go build your village.
- You have total freedom in building your village.
- If you have a horse you can pack that too.
There ‘s a bit of story in a city apartment and some loot.

Story Outline
Story outlines use [7] The Seven Questions and [7] The Shape of Stories frames for their structure.
Things getting in New City is getting worse, people are vanishing in the night and the police won’t acknowledge it and some people want to leave New City, I’m with a group that want to leave NC and I’m part of the planing group which includes finding the location, build plans, and protection.
It’s finally time, we’re leaving tomorrow we’ll have a long journey but it’s manageable and construction will be a nightmare but we’ll pull through.
It’s far worse than we thought it would bee out here we’ve already lost some to a infected but we’re almost there and then we can build walls to defend our selves and make weapons that are rare in NC and can only be obtained on the black market.
