We’re a community of faith leaders in the Northeast US who see a tsunami of God’s power and love on the horizon. We’ve dedicated ourselves to pursue The Way of Jesus in preparation for this wave: we’re disciples who disciple others to disciple others. We’re working in many places and many ways to as we live this out, but we all learn from the Master as a regional missional community that plants and waters other missional communities.

VIDEO > Fasting 2021: Spiritual Preparation for a Move of God

Though we see God is up to something, to be honest we don’t quite yet know what that is. But we want to be ready when he shows us. Because of this, many in our group feel lead to a season of prayer and fasting for the Month of December. I’d like to share some video teaching on this, and then invite you into an online conversation that will hopefully support and enrich your investment in fasting.

This course work is intended to help church leaders shift their paradigm towards the multiplication of disciples and churches.

Here’s some quick answers if you’re interested but have questions:

Faith Leaders

What do you mean by faith leaders? Faith leaders includes: professional clergy, co-vocational and bi-vocational pastors, lay church leaders, missionaries, and any other agents of the Kingdom of God who feel God is calling them to serve groups of people. We have a pretty broad definition that includes people in ministry, business, and other sectors so long as they follow Jesus and want to help others do the same. If you want to know if you qualify, join the conversation and see if it feels like your place.

Tsunami

What do you mean by a tsunami? That’s just a word-picture we use for a move of God that some people call “a gospel movement,” “disciple making movement”, “spontaneous gospel expansion,” or “revival”. We believe one is just around the chronological corner and see our work as getting ready for it. If you’re not sure about that, well, what could you really have to loose from hoping that God is going to make life a whole lot better for a whole lot of people!

Northeast US

What do you mean by Northeast US? Right now our community is located in the tri-state area of NJ-PA-NY and the NYC metro area. We’re open to God spreading that further, but right now, being able to ride/drive to see each other and connect is important for us. Not in our area? The Way of Jesus

What do you mean by The Way of Jesus? We mean the teachings, lifestyle, and missionary methods used by Jesus as revealed in the Bible. Jesus says he is “The Way, The Truth, and The Life”, and though Christendom has wanted his truth and life, we’ve generally been less interested in his way. We want to get that back and think that doing so will make us better people, better leaders, and better neighbors.

Missional Community

What do you mean by missional community? We mean a community of people who pursue mission together with Jesus and with each other, supporting each other and learning together. We’re a spread out ekklesia — a word that means those called out to assemble so they can follow the call of Jesus into the world where he is demonstrating his love and offering his Kingdom to make people children of God and fellow heirs. We see this as a fluid reality of people that can inhabit expression in many forms: a church, a micro-church, a crew or tribe of friends, a shared project, a business, or something else.
