Ending Sibling Rilvary and Play-date Rage [Course Idea Outline]
We have a big felt need and some of the inspiration on this idea. I’m thinking about a course for parents, co-op leaders, teachers, and community group leaders, but including videos and activities suitable for whole families. Overall, this would employ a brain-hacking / behavior-hacking paradigm (see this activity update).
Explain conflict in childhood according to Three Shapes:
- [2] The Dialectic: How conflict arises from tension between aspiration (what I want) and situation (what’s going on) [James 4:1-3]. Core strategy is transitioning perceived position of siblings and friends from part of situation to allies for aspiration [possibility of what might have happened if Cain and Able or Prodigal and Older Brother would have collaborated]. This is done by creating synthesis through collaboration. Setting up collaborative systems of play, especially a “metagame system” which rewards collaboration of generative behavior in play.
- [3] David’s Bow: Design a tool to help use conflict and collaboration to tune what we want in life. {more later…}
- [4] Secure Attachments: Further develop [4] The Quad -based tool for developing trust in relationships to maximize generative potential. {more later…}
Probably, I would look to launch this course as a product with Awakened Generation.
