[3] Eisenhower’s Bow

Eisenhower’s Bow is a mashup frame of the popular Eisenhower’s Quadrant (Matrix), also known as the Urgent-Important Matrix, and [3] David’s Bow.

Many version’s of Eisenhower’s Quadrant exist in consulting, coaching, and leadership circles. All versions cross-analyze whether a task is urgent or important (or both or neither) and then triage that task to an assignment and priority.

urgent: anything time sensitive. A response is expected or required.

important: critical to them mission and long-range health.

All versions of the quadrant say that items in urgent-important must be first priority, important-not urgent must be second priority, not important-urgent third priority, and not imporant-not urgent fourth priority.

The names of the quadrants and the names of the assignments for items in the quadrant vary significantly from version to version depending on the application and interpretation of what to do with urgent and important things.
