Camp Deerpark
Camp Deerpark (CDP) is a camp and retreat center located in the Shawangunk Mountains of NY. CDP is a ministry of the 18 diverse Mennonite Churches of NYC and focuses on serving and equipping youth, families, and churches of the metro area.
UK participates in Camp Deerpark mainly through the ministry of the Executive Director Ben Cheek. In 2024, CDP began exploring the use of The Journey Map as the basis for Child and Youth Development and Discipleship. Also through CDP and Global City Mission Initiative, Ben is working to resource the NYC District of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference for Missional Engagment.
