Footnotes and References
Footnotes and reference notes are handled on the site by Jason Yingling’s Easy Footnotes plugin. Simply add a shortcode in your text like the one below:
[efn_note]Footnote content.[/efn_note]This will do the following:
- It will add a automatically numbered superscript note to your published text.
- A tooltip will be added that shows the note in a tooltip bubble when a users mouse or cursor hovers over the note.
- The note text will be published in an automatically-added section at the end of the article called “References and Notes”.
