Story Stub Types
Story Stub Types are different kinds of story outlines for the SparkQuest interactive story and game. The different types allow story ideas to be developed and categorized on multiple levels of complexity, from the very broad to the very focused.
| Type | Scope |

| Thread | Very board story ideas that can be worked into various smaller parts of the story. Generally themes describe a type or set of stories that will have to be broken down much further. |
| Book | Story idea for an entire book. Used rarely to describe the story of large sets of characters and events. |
| Chapter | A significant and coherent story within a book. May group together several smaller elements such as scenes, meetings, and events. |
| Scene | A chapter portion that describes an important part of the action that develops the plot. |
| Meeting | A scene portion that develops characters through their relationships to each other. |
| Event | A scene portion the develops characters and the plot through some action. |
