[4] The Four Ds

The Four Ds is a framework for working through the growth challenges of movement-level change. Derived from the narrative of Jesus demonstrating the Kingdom Gospel in Mark 1:14-34, the framework develops a spiral paradigm (both cyclical and sequential) for movements to design and deploy expressions of the Kingdom of God that confront oppressive systems for human actualization and the common good.

The Inner World

Disciples

Change emerges from within us. Who we are, what we believe, and our internal capacities govern the sourcing of reality we create.

Human Construct

Doctrine

We cooperatively create reality from a model we hold in common with others. This governs the direction of the reality we can build.

Belief Systems

Demons

Change is resisted by belief systems that define the status quo on a macro level which are confronted by the innovations of our new reality.

The Physical World

Disease

Change is manifest when it transforms the systems in health and sustainability — this governs the scope of the new reality.
