I can’t reproduce on iPhone 7/13.5.1/DuckDuckGo. @JoanofTheArc reports the issue resolved when the page was reduced to 75%. Seems to be a reader setting particular to browser.

Apparently, it issue is that our shared hosting setup has a problem creating or resolving the symbolic links that Buddyboss is generating. I contacted BuddyBoss support and they informed me that their is a setting in BuddyBoss > Settings > Media that turns off the symbolic links feature.

Also, they recommended I look at their “Media Permissions” component that adds a custom .htaccess to all media folders to prevent direct access. Hopefully, I’ll implement this soon.

Good job working on this @etcetera and @BlackoutKnight. We now have a test pack up and running on the server. All users should get a prompt when joining the server to download the custom pack. Here’s some additional things we could do:

    1. Test on bedrock to see if resource pack works.

    2. Continue to create skins to add to the pack.

    3. Figure out how to add custom language files to the pack to actually rename items.

You’re moving into the second part of step 2 in the process: “do a search on the internet to see if anyone else has asked the question before”. The best way to keep track of this is to write a quick summary of any source you think is authoritative or particularly helpful/insightful. A summary should include:

    • Author and Title of source with link.
    • What they said.
    • What it means for the overall question.
    • Why you think this is right/helpful/insightful (could include information on what type of authority they are).

@Etcetera specifically asked how you research something like this, especially if you don’t yet have vast scriptural knowledge. Here’s a basic process I recommend:

    1. First read the text at least twice and highlight any clues in the text itself. Then write down any questions or possible answers you can come up with.

    2. Do a scripture search for more clues in scripture, for example, in this case I would search “olive tree” and read all the passages that come up. I’d especially pay attention to the prophetic literature where olive tree is used symbolically. What is it a symbol of? After this search, you can do a search on the internet to see if anyone else has asked the question before.

    3. Based on your research, form a hypothesis of what you think it means. Try to figure out a way that this could be translated into something actionable that you could test out in your own life and spiritual practice. If you need help, this is the perfect time to speak to a mentor, coach, of spiritual leader.

    4. Once your hypothesis has been tested and confirmed (repeat 3 if it is not), you have an interpretation or answer that you should share with others.

(This process is an application of the [4] Four Layers of Meaning framework.)

February 16, 2022 at 7:53 pm in reply to: Real Estate System Setup

Now we need to publish the workflow on real estate purchases. Initially I figured it would Work like this:

    1. We publish a forum thread for every type of property, i.e. “Build Your Own Home – Land for Sale” or “Convenient Downtown Condos for Sale”.
    2. Multiple units (if applicable) would be identified in the post and then the buyer identifies the unit they wish to buy In a reply
    3. When sysop gets time, they deduct the price from players gbal and set up the world guard region for the user according to the applicable zoning rules.
    4. The sysop notifies the player that the wg region is now theirs via site DM or discord DM.
    5. Not sure this is necessary, but sysop could also enter the player as owner of the region and the region name in our admin records concerning the lot (this may not be necessary due to the game pretty much remembering this and it being retrievable by command. However, if for some reason it’s could be lost, our records may allow reconstruction.

@BlackoutKnight : Looks like the only way to do the intro cut scenes is to use a new email account: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1043883-how-to-delete-warframe-or-reset-account-or-restart-anew/https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1043883-how-to-delete-warframe-or-reset-account-or-restart-anew/

We’ll use a UK test account. I’ll DM you the credentials on Discord.

@BlackoutKnight : I found the following tip about how to access “The Second Dream” on the wiki:

The Second Dream is automatically made available upon completing the Neptune Junction. The Quest can be activated in the Quests section of the Codex.

Was thinking last night and this AM about what the 5 APEST equipping roles would be in terms of a military spec-ops team:

    Apostle: Strategy
    Prophet: Intel
    Evangelist: Tactics
    Shepherd: Health & Morale
    Teacher: Logistics

OR in terms of more raw roles:

    Apostle: Commander
    Prophet: Recon
    Evangelist: Breacher / Berserker
    Shephard: Medic
    Teacher: Tech

Thinking about team work as the sys dyn: Google did a big study and discovered that how people where treated on teams was more important than who was on the team:

Interesting that after the 5 gifts are outlined in Eph 4, the rest of chapter 4 and all of chapter 5 are about love and how people are treated.

This guy says about the same thing, but from the perspective of leadership:

What about using this as the Mon/Wisdom piece:

    No man is an island,
    entire of itself;
every man is a piece of the continent,
    a part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
    Europe is the less,
as well as if a promontory were.
as well as if a manor of thy friend’s
    or of thine own were.
    Any man’s death diminishes me,
    because I am involved in mankind;
    and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
    it tolls for thee.

From Meditation 17 by John Donne, written while he was seriously ill in the winter of 1623. (See also the other wisdom on the QZ post.)

John was an interesting character. An adventurer in his youth, he took a job as a political aid till he married his bosses daughter and had ticked him off. He then ran for political office himself and then entered the Church (after converting from Catholicism to Anglicanism).

He’s the most preeminent of the metaphysical poets.

Please post your conclusions about the symbolism of the two olive trees. In our conversation, you were saying the Judges 9:7-15 passage gives some insight (talking about olive trees symbolizing the highest level-leader/king), but that Zech 4 and Rev 11 are probably talking about the same two symbolic figures.

What was the other building you were looking at? Wasn’t it a famous library in the United States?

As per our conversation on 5/13/21, we’re going to set the NC Exclusive Economic Zone at 2500+/- blocks x & y from 0,0. This will mean the village challenge will be to find a spot somewhere around 3000 +/- x & y.

@blackout found a place on the biome map near -3000, 0 that has both jungle and mountain (for @etcetera ).
