We need to research chicken breeds so we’re ready to get chicks when the time comes. In order to do this, we should create a “Feature Chart” that compares breeds against the features we want most.
- A good place to start is listing our questions that need answered or our desired features. For example: “Will this breed be friendly?” or “I want chickens we can hold.” These both can be translated into the feature on a feature chart.
- Create the feature chart with breeds on one axis and features on the other.
- Research breeds and complete the chart.
