  Needs of living things

  im here to talk about the basic needs of living things

  1. Space/Shelter
  2. Water
  3. Nutrients/Biogenic materials
  4. Energy (such as photons and what not)
  5. Respiration gases

  1. space everything needs space like have you ever dropped a rock on the tiniest ant you can find it will get squashed so no matter want nothing can survive with no space

  2. water everything needs water to drink to swim in when you learn about biology you learn that nothing can survive without water

  3. nutrients/biogenic materials nutrients is like food to the soil the plants absorb biogenic material is like iron and other materials that are on the periodic table that don’t kill things

  4. energy so basically nothing can survive without light or heat or the burning of calories

  5. respiration gases oxygen is the main gas that keeps thing alive but there are bacteria and parasites that don’t need it the parasite is called Henneguya salminicola that lives in salmon and for the bacteria it is the Anaerobic bacteria which will die if exposed to oxygen
