    With all the work we’ve been doing about slope, I’m head to being able to think about and graph rates of change. For example, can we both grow our chicken flock and cull meat birds? The answer would depend on what slope is needed to grow the flock and whether the slope of reproduction is steeper and has room for harvesting birds. Slope and rate of change is also very important for the work I’m doing on the Camp business model. Sustainability in all areas, including ecological sustainability, requires tracking and understanding rates of change.
