  Starting Point 24-25

  We need to start our new year as a family using the Project-base Learning process at a high level. This means asking EVERYONE in our family what their interests are. Right now, I’m thinking about this in terms of [2] Story : that we need to explore who our family members see their aspiration and situation.

  I’m picturing a bit of a brainstorming session around the following questions:

  1. What kind of person do you want to be? (Maybe use fruit of the Spirit and “love is…” as inspiration.)
  2. What do you want to do with your future?
  3. What gets in the way of becoming this?
  4. What assets and resources do you have to become this? (really mine here)

  Everyone has to answer, including parents. Maybe do the ball-tossing thing to control whose talking and add some motion to it.

  Once we answer these, we’ll move on to the following question (transitioning to planning; dependent on the possibilities mined in #4 above):

  What projects would you like to do?

  LATER: For each project, what will need to do them. Would like to break this into a whole process to include brainstorming and the development/use of a project building template.
