Syllogistic Roasting
To continue on our project of understanding Euclid’s Elements, we’re going to work on syllogisms. Please research syllogisms by search for articles online that explain what they are and give examples. In a reply to this thread, you’ll be writing you own.
Syllogisms can be used to roast your nerdy friends — but with logic. Consider this famous one:
Everyone who is sane can do Logic.
No lunatics are fit to serve on a jury.
None of your
sons can do Logic.Therefore, none of your sons are fit to serve on a jury.
To prove you get what a syllogism is and that you know how to write one, please respond to this post with your best roasting syllogisms. Remember, they must be “safe-for-work,” so keep it clean!
