    @etcetera Please find a historical or similar image of different moves from a martial arts kata to use as the cover image.

    @BlackoutKnight Please look on shutterstock or pixabay for a cool martial arts image to use as the course feature image.

    Both: Please research and post a list of all martial arts, personal combat systems, self-defense systems etc — focus on hand-to-hand combat only for now please.

    Both: Please do some deep-dive research to find the earliest archeological or historical record of a personal or hand-to-hand combat system (could include hand-held weapons). What qualifies: it was obviously taught/trained and it was recorded.

    I looked around and found several results, for one a list on Wikipedia, for another a list of older martial arts. From my research it seems that the earliest martial arts seem to be wrestling and boxing.
