To the Elohym:
As we move toward the launch of the first server, I have been speaking to you in person about the philosophical underpinnings of our project. In order for us to be successful, we must be incredibly artful and subtle in our influence of the Incarnate. Otherwise, our project is likely to suffer the same fate as the first Earth.
It has become apparent, as we have discussed and visualized various models and trajectories, that it is essential to make the Incarnate participants in the creation of a sustainable future, without revealing to them the complete and horrifying truth. I therefore propose that we reveal to the Incarnate the Directive — its concepts and philosophies — without revealing ourselves or the full situation in which they find themselves.
Since the Dreaming is a simulation of the early 21st century, we must contextualize all our activities in a completely seamless way for that reality. I propose that we take the role in the Dreaming of “social media influencers” — an kind of informal authority who communicated ideas to the populace in a system call “social media”. This will allow us the power to influence the Incarnate while remaining virtually invisible.
To this end, I want to enlist your help creating “videos”, to be released on social media that will lead the Incarnate on the Directive’s path. We will have to do considerable research into 21st century ideas and practices to accomplish this, so I will be creating summaries for the videos and also research tasks for our team to execute.
