Membership in this workshop is open to 10-15 year-olds who want to work together to craft a immersive game-story in the SparkQuest universe while taking deep-dives into a variety of amazing skills and topics.

Leadership

Leading groups and projects using the Emergent Leadership framework.


Science

Economics, Astronomy, Geology, Climatology, and Biology in world crafting. Physics and Chemistry in technology crafting. Data collection, analysis, and prediction.

Writing

Story development skills. Writing in WordPress through Journey Journals and research writing.

Math

Population dynamics, proportions, ratios, and scaling problems. Spreadsheet use and custom-coding calculators.

Design

Digital art and design in GIMP and Inkscape. 3D master- crafting in Minecraft, World Painter, and Blender.

Social Studies

Eras of civilization and cultural studies using the Emergent Values System Framework, Geography and History for story development.
