What Month Is This?
Ask Issachar the time, if you can find him.
He is like that old man who saved the city,
But he has no likes and subscribes.
See him, and he recounts the strategic time:
On the ides of Julian, marked by new moon,
True month named for the owner of the tent,
The one riding on clouds, hovering over tabernacles.
Not empty handed, for Bezalel and Oholiab,
He brings Gad’s blessing, establishing lineage:
Retribution and a leaders portion, even excess.
But older brother, what is a double portion for?
Quit asking slaves, seek ye the heart of Father.
He points your eyes to the restoration of the prodigal,
The foundation of the household extended.
