How does it follow that a “wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign”?
In Matthew 16:4, Jesus says:
An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed. [ESV]
I’m curious what it is that makes a corrupted generation seek a sign? What’s the connection?
